    POOR FORM

I get each to their own but this just saddens me as a hunter!
This hunting party would be lucky if 2 of the 8 bucks went 10 inches!
Now this valley will unlikely produce any decent bucks for a few years! CheersName: 6ADB4A27-8A68-4CAC-9C84-D51ED2DD22F9.jpeg

I laugh a the lor and pride of man, at the sophist schools and learned clan. For what are they all in high conceit, when man in the bush with god may meet?

Not to mention their tent will fill up with smoke.

They put them over those man holes when doing cable connecting

@berg243 absolutely agree! If nobody keeps the numbers down, DOC will!
We all need to keep an eye on DOC's proposed 1080 drop areas!

Overestimating trophy size may be a problem related to super high magnification scopes... Jokes aside, that is piss poor form, and extremely selfish.

I’m not experienced enough with Chamois to tell if they are all bucks but if they are then you can’t contribute it to management of numbers. Gotta shoot the females to do that.

    Thought about this over night.
So if there were 4 guys hunting from a base camp and going going in to different catchments whats the problem? and as said above i can't tell if they are all bucks.
Might be there one and only cham trip.
I would be more worried about old mate dropping the next party in there in the next couple weeks

Possibly a couple of nannies in that lot...possibly. Chamois numbers aren't that high in the areas I hunt, always there, but never in any great quantity. Having hunted and observed chamois for over 40 years, I dont see us having a chamois problem. They live in smaller groups, their overall population is low, and they're little so they dont eat much. As for the pic, there could be all sorts of reasons theres a shitload of dead animals on that tent. But it is poor form, no need to go shooting the shit out of every chamois you see just for shits and giggles. And that photo was just for shits and giggles! What is even poorer form than shooting a shitload of less than trophies is putting up a bloody picture of it in the public domain! Wheres the photo's of the hunt, the experience, the scenery? To me this sort of pic smacks of wannabe "trophy hunters" who have no consideration for the resource or for the greater hunting fraternity. The sort of hunters that want go to the pub, get pissed, beat their chests and tell the whole wide world what great hunters they are - yeah right.

It's possibly a matter of getting in before our beloved leader and her party turn the NZ Public Lands (DoC) Estate over to Maori ownership, which looks to be a real possibility at the moment. Who knows what this communist cnut has in her constantly nodding head?? Fucking thing.
Used to be a fine wine - now I'm vinegar.
