your mate farmdeerhunter69 reckons wild deer are easier to hunt than farm deer, he might be able to help you find some
Plenty of reds, some Sika closer to Klondyke Rd... haven't ever seen a fallow.
cheers LJP, will have to go in and have a good look

Nothing like a cold beer after a long day of farm hunting
Someone released some Sika Deer at Port Waikato just over 20 years ago on his block and unfortunately some prick got wind of it and started shooting animals from the original release before they even started breeding.
Despite this, to my knowledge, they did get established in a small localised herd.
There also used to be a beautiful localised Fallow Herd that spanned only over a couple of properties at South Manukau Head. It used to produce great trophies for the few lucky ones that were allowed to hunt there. I'm not sure if that herd still exists.
There are definitely Fallow spread throughout the area. In high numbers in places. I know of a farm where a professional team have taken a good number out over a month.
I’d be surprised if there’s not Fallow.
