    Hey @Stickbow, how you going? I hope you are well.
    Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it. Regards of long range hunting, it is awesome but as you may know, it is a completely different "beast". As the distance get further and further the hunter responsibilities also go further and further. Be a responsible hunter and "PRACTICE, PRACTICE AND PRACTICE" on targets and when you think you are good enough and confident them practise even more. Learn how to "read" the wind as it is maybe the more important thing to deal with, everyone can find how much "drop" the bullet will have at a giving distance but not many will know what the wind will be doing at such a long distances. I can assure you that only practise will make you "ok".

    Good luck and all the best! Hope to catch up one of these days around the great New Zealand.

    Do you want to know what damage an ELD-M do on meat at Long distance? Follow bellow:

    Photo #1, point of entrance, just behind of left shoulder;

    Photo #2, inside ribs cavit entrance side (I am very sorry about the poor quality photo only saw it now);

    Photo #3, damage under the right shoulder exit side;

    To finalise, the bullet went thruout and thruout leaving a little bigger hole (2") in the exit. The projectile went thru the lungs making a hole each side of it.
    Just in case you guys wonder what I was shooting here I go again, Hornady 140gr ELD-M, 42gr ADI2209, Federal GM 210 and Hornady 2X fired. Target was at 675 meters, estimated velocity is 1745ft/s.

    Cheers.

    Hey Mac, that's some pretty impressive terminal damage at that distance. Nice shooting
