Pureora Forest - Tolleys Rd access

    Hey guys
Just wanting to question the general Waikato hunters on here.

I'm planning an overnighter in North Pureora accessing from Tolley's Rd - and was wondering what numbers have been like since if got the green rain towards the end of last year. Last time I was out there was June/July last year. Not after anyone's spot X, just whether their is enough numbers to make it worth it for a short trip.

On a side note - I am also interested to hear from anyone who knows of other roads that are urban car accessible (unfortunately only have a Honda civic at present!) That access pureora forest. Thanks guys!

Can’t remember exactly, but pretty sure the first left out of Otorohonga; heading south. I think you go under a railway bridge. Drive right to the very end, as you get further up the road gets narrower.
Eventually you feel like you’re on a farmers track, but you come to a gate or road into the park, complete with Doc sign.

It’s a long time since I’ve been in, from memory its only 20-25 min from town.

That’s pretty much it. Be busy as though…
