    Pureora Piropiro info

    Heading to Piro Piro.

Just wondering if the Waione tram track is too far to walk for a day trip?

Pretty keen to get there but not equipped for a fly camp there so gotta account for walking back.

    Cheers.

Should be fine for a day trip, it's 30min to 1hr to the swingbridge (hope you like heights!) depending whether you take the panhandle track (shorter but a steep climb) or the timber trail.

take a mountain bike you will get to that spot quicker............otherwise couple hours each way walking depends on how fit you are (the walk from where you park to the swingbridge is the worst bit
