Local DOC used to issue gamebird and pest permits, covered rimfire and shotgun, change of area manager, option was canned.

We can use shotgun or rimfire on small game permit....but not after dark...possums can be hunted during daylight but hell of a lot easier at night.

I have set up a trail cam down there , hopping to see what would pop up in spring after the winter drop.
I guess I am going to have to wait till february / March to retrieve that cam.

    Good on ya.
Defending that comment will probably get you a holiday as well, but if you think half of that being true is OK then that's a hard case position.

So your argument has gone from this is all true, to this is half true. But what if it's only a quarter true and more complex than a simple green check? That probably means its mostly wrong and therefore shouldn't be presented as an argument.

If that is aimed at me, it wasn't me that suggested half of it is bullshit - see 2 posts above yours where 308 said "Actually half of that is bullshit".

While the truth is often somewhat more nuanced than just a tick, stating that half the post is bullshit also means that half isn't. Maths, you can't escape it.

How much is true Ross? You are relying on two fallacies. First is that you are betting no one will risk a ban by providing information to prove you wrong, and second is the motte and Bailey approach of retreating too if half is true it's still bad.

Ill state its mostly untrue and that's as valid as your meme with no evidence.

I had intended to make my poem the last word on this, but here you go. I'd suggest we go to PM if you really want to debate the matter. I don't expect this post to survive long, and the original thread still deserves air time.

The only two that I couldn't agree more than I disagree with are the pedophilia and child trafficking - although the US Dept of Homeland Security's report does say that they are unable to account for some 300,000 children migrants, and that in some cases thousands are sponsored by the same address - which does seem somewhat dodgy.

And that is as valid as your also unsupported opinion - see how that works?

    Whoops. What have I started.

    Simple prose
    Said in jest
(thats a half truth, if at best)
Tongue in cheek but meaning it
    Passive aggressive from the hip
    Stirring up a hornet's nest
Perhaps a banning will be next

@Tahr. I feel you knew exactly what you were doing, and that is sad.

Of course I did. That’s what the words said. “Tongue in cheek but meaning it”.
