Thread: A quick heads up on Tataraakina blocks

Seems that due to prolonged rain, there are currently hunters stuck in some blocks at tataraakina off Taupo/Napier. They are not letting anyone else in till they get the others out, which due to a condemned bridge , could be a while.
Also hearing of double and even treble bookings, with partys getting turned away after long drive.
As if that is not enough to give the current management a headache (as well as hunters), there are some enterprising locals breaking into cars left at the bridge.
Given what these guys are charging for the blocks, I think they could do better

*obviously the weather is out of their control, but access isnt, and neither is security
