    Range Finder

In no way affiliated to this business, just did a review after a few weeks playing with this range finder.

Actually incredibly impressed considering the price. Wish I had known about these sooner. I struggled without for the year it took to save up to get a leupold. Defo recommend to the newish hunter a bit strapped for cash but wants to challenge themselves with a bit of distance.

Thought I'd share for the benefit of someone like I was a couple years ago

Sounds alright for the price, another that perhaps lacks some unnecessary features but has very good ranging ability for the dollars is the Yukon optics.

It would be good to have information on the colour of display eh as that was the major let down on the one I reviewed.

Was really difficult to try to get a photo to describe it but basically black on black is hard to see.

yea that is a problem with the luepold and Bushnell I have owned also but like you say you just flick sideways or up-down to a lighter background to read

nice one, yeah i have the same with my leupold which is supposed to be a fairly flash model, i cant see the crosshair in on black backgrounds but you can generally get past it by just ranging something close by the target that is a lighter colour.
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

    Ah, mine is illuminated red.

Battery life is okay. The case tends to push the buttons so that's a downside but mine isn't flat yet after a week since charge and regular mucking around.

Good review, certainly seems to fit the bill if your on a budget or even if you are after a range finder. I had a leupold (1000 yarder and TBR etc) but found that it lacked in ranging ability and was slow to record the range. I now have a leica much better and quicker. This one you reviewed sounds OK though.
