Was having a stooge around the northern ruahines this week and found this little gem.
It had a carton of milk left there that was dated 2018.
Any body been there before?

He's a fencer so wont be that far from a road.
Just looked up Waiokotori stream (as it sounded familiar). It just showed how many huts have been removed from the hills since the change over from NZFS to Dozens of C#nts. I always remember from my rabid tramping days as a teen in the early 70's just how many huts we had to 'do' to claim we had been to them all: 65 huts in the Tararuas and 55 huts in the Ruahines. And to add to the challenge, go to maps past and check out the maps we had to use (prior to topo maps and GPS's becoming a 'thing'.
