Thread: red fawns

saw hinds with fawns in paddocks yesterday guys......... that time of year again.
on side note was sowing fert in small paddock with 20 stags in it....did the maths in my head and was shocked by final figure. big sire stags with christmas trees on both sides...some had tines that had sprouted tines so looked like 4 main beams....if they sold for $50k each its a cool million
if they went for 200k each...possibly a more realistic figure ,4 mil in a 1.78ha paddock with a truck chucking pebbles like road gravel at them. needless to say I drove SLOWLY and gave them plenty of room and time to move out of way....

That would be calves you saw Mr Duck Red deer have calves, doe's have fawns

No market for trophies this year, draw a line through it and next year too

these fellas more likely to be sold as sires,than out right trophies......the modern genetics are mind bogglin.
