Hi guys. I am looking at doing another fly in trip down south to the Canterbury area and was just wanting to see if any one could help me in some good spots to look at going.
Cheers guys.

Gotta love this shit eh! Suggest you join in with the other thread re guides, theres plenty there that will help you out........................for a price. Or you could read some of the Forum rules, go to the intro section, introduce yourself, establish a bit of a rep as a good bastard. And then somebody might be interested in helping you out. Plenty of us do, plenty of us have, but right now we dont know you from a bar of soap.
well dont get in the shower with husky1600 or you might get rubbed up the wrong way!!!!!!!
troll detection going off for anyone else here???
Thanks for your words of infinite wisdom Cyclops, but neither a position given as a latitude and longitude nor one given as an NZMS grid reference have anything whatsoever to do with gps.

My point, which you only partially understood, was that many don 't know the difference between a northing-easting and lat-long coordinate systems as they have only used a GPS system.
You, @Sauer, are correct the northing-easting need reference to a location.
It was an additional point that I didn't make because that wasn't relevant to my post. Thanks for your post.
And of course there are more technical details around the use of lat-long, GPS, coordinate systems that I did not mention either because they weren't relevant too.
