Thread: Renwick office

Anyone have direct contact for someone at doc renwick? Have been trying for days to get through to get a permit from someone named Karen, but no reply to emails or messages.

No direct contact, sorry. But not unusual for a few days to receive replies to emails. I know that office is only manned some days and I've never figured out their system of what days are manned or not.
Yes, usually Karen is the permits person. I've always found her helpful and I'm sure in due course she will respond. Like you though I have found it frustrating. No choice but to wait iy out.

Joy Crump usually does the permits at Renwick DOC. No direct number sorry, they stopped answering phone a while ago. 03 5729100 goes to Nelson and they either do permit or put you through to Renwick.

I'm waiting on a response from them too, probably won't hear now until Tuesday as I don't they work Fridays and not open Monday for Labour day.

Make sure you are polite please. I don't know any of them personally but have had great dealings with the Renwick office over the years. Remember these guys don't make the rules!

It was more a passing comment as a lot of people hate DoC and are less than polite to the staff who have nothing to do with making the rules. I'm not saying the poster of this thread is or will be rude.

Totally understand plenty will bad mouth DOC when just like us the workers are just doing their best to earn a living
