    Right spot?

    As plenty of you may well know I'm about the most amateur hunter on this forum. I have yet to see my first deer. I pretty much only hunt up Thompsons track and Tauhu track( Kaimais) as im to young to drive myself around and its about the most handy place to go. I have been out probably 10 times in the last year or two and have yet to see real fresh sight let alone a deer. I understand many people drag deer out of there but am i hunting in the right area for a rookie. Is there somewhere else ( preferably Hamilton Te Aroha area) that would be a good place to explore and gain a few more skills in order to bag my first animal? Cheers guys

    I dont know your area but good luck for your future hunts and chin up, it will happen and when it does it will unfold so quickly you wont have time to take it all in!

    He is not old enough to buy them @Toby...but @possummatti, if you call in for a chat, I can't tell you where the deer are, but I can point out the places where the last five were taken from...the most recent was on the weekend just gone.
