Thread: Roads to ahuriri and hopkins valleys

Ahuriri to the end of the station road is ok.
From gate to doc fence is pretty rutted, some wash out but if you can't get further, its not a big walk to the doc fence and car park.
Fence has holes on the left side people drive around but don't know why as you can't get up past the next big washout with a vehicle anyway. MTB or shanks pony from there.

Road standard BT50 with AT tires got all the way to the doc fence and carpark during the summer.
