About LinkBacksI never hunt with one up the spout, while walking into a scrubby clearing one a crisp morning I deciding to put one up since everything felt right for a deer and my wee 22.250 has a very positive half bolt. Upon spotting said deer I automatically cycled the bolt (as I would normally do), ejected and the live round, failed to pick up a new one and went click at the deer. Walking away from that I felt a complete rookie.
