Thread: Rookie mistakes!

I store my bolt actions with bolt out, mainly in case of theft. Bolts live in the amo safe

It seemed a bit crazey to me to remove the bolt from my bolt action and place it in the safe next to the semi,lever and pump actions.
If your really concerned about theft you would be better off to store all firearms in different locations.

Cleaning??? I store them separately too.

Insulation tape for the barrel and for fixing everything else is an essential.

But the guns are much less use to the thief, which is more the point. No point making it too easy for them.

Hey if they want two rip the safe out of the house and gas it in half I'm not making it easy

One I've learned

Once you pick ya campsite, look where you are going to pitch your tent and where your sleeping mat is going to be.
Nowadays I get on my knees and run my hands over the area feeling for short stalks and sharp rocks

Waking up on a sleep mat that has deflated is not much fun

One of those trad blue mats don't feel too good either when what you thought was good ground actually a lot of bumpy submerged rocks...

My mate had a blow up mat, fuck it was comfy. Beat my bush mattress I put together hands down. But I'll stick with my "manly" read uncomfortable way, just to give him some shit on being a soft cock

I don't know how I feel about them, whether or not they're a luxury to carry around haha! I suppose I could check out some reviews and all that, self-inflating ones "look" good but do they do a good job?
Any thoughts anyone?
