    Rotorua lakes advice

Am heading down to that way on the 8th December. Have had a search and a google. Also emailed doc. But nothing much has turned up.

Which of the lakes is better for deer and wallabies? Hoping to shoot one deer and a few wallabies. Any advice is apreciated.

    Cheers.

Okataina has always had deer and wallabies but it could be closed as stated above, your best bet is to do some door knocking around the lakes close to Okatanina, Rotoma and Rotoehu or Rotoiti. Anywhere farmland isclose to native bush would be worth a look.
There are wallabies around all these places but deer might be a bit different story being on private land. You can only but ask.

It's good someone has a plan! Even if it involves me and him walking the breadth of the kaimanawa haha

By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?

No, youre thinking of the wrong plan mate! The new and revised plan involves driving right into where the deer live, no walking, just instantaneous stalking
