Thread: Round hill.

Any body hunt the round hill reserve on the southside of the longwoods? Any pointers or warnings? Got first days of in 9 weeks coming up and im chomping to get out there. Ment to be a good front coming through sunday but hopefully not as bad as they think. Cheers.

There are deer up there but as SiB notes the area is frequented by a lot of people.

Be SAFE and be ALERT.

This deer was standing on the road about 200m past the locked gate where you will park you vehicle !

Yep falls creek thats the sucker. End of my road if this scwall fucks off ill be out this arvo or in the morning. Not much fun in the sleet.

Hey guys new to southland but have heard good things about the longwoods hunting area. What road is the best road to go down into the longwoods in your opinions ?? i Have tried going through cascade road on the south side and had a look around there but no luck really seeing anything. A friend of mine told me to try merrivale road at the northen side of the longwoods. what do you think ?

Which road was this ? (up to bald hill i mean ?)
