Yes. Several good tarns. One at the Junction to Triangle hut and a couple further North. You cant miss them.

Cant confirm, but with how wet this late summer period has been in the high country id say you will find water on top if not, you wont have to drop off far
There's a few good tenting spots around campus too now the students are back :)
