Thread: Ruahines....advice needed

Ruahine corner is hard hunting because the bush is really thick but holds a lot of animals. The hut is great. If walking along the edges at dusk watch out for tomos as there are heaps of them everywhere and some of them are monsters. Head to the creeks or up the tops or walk the bushline/paddock areas. We used to fly in out of Taihape with Wanganui helicopters.
