    Ruahines condition?

    Hi Team

After the cyclone who has been into the eastern side of the Ruahines?

What condition are the tracks in? Is there much windfall? What are rivers tracks follow like?

    Are the boys talking yet?

    Cheers

....the best way to find out is first hand. Might pay to take a saw to deal with windfall.....

Went up to Hinerua yesterday and Tukituki River is so easy to walk up - tonnes of gravel has filled in all the previous river channels. Track to hut was mint - no windfall at all.
Slip by Hinerua is a dozzie..

Mill Road is fine - only a couple of narrow bits as you go down the hill towards the river.
