    Ruanhine Corner Hut Spring Hunt

Hi Guys, im after advice on the Ruahine Corner Hut.

A few of us are heading there for a spring hunt sometime this year (nothings been set date/time wise).

However none of us have hunted in that area or even the Ruahines before (we're Waikato based).

From what I've found out so far there's a large slip just south of the hut and there's lots of bush layer in the bush behind the hut (supposedly).

I'm not after any secret spots more an overall feel for the area since we only have 3 days, do a bit of bush stalking maybe some glassing.

Any advice and Pm's would be great

    Rich

Head down to Ikawatea Forks Hut - just be careful where you drop in: there are a few bluffs to be wary of...

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

yep don't get caught on the cousy land as a few have found out when they have to pick their rifles up from the local cop shop!
