Thread: Rusa

Hello all!

This is a question regarding Rusa, I've been wanting to cross Rusa off my list for a while now and I'm not after a trophy, just a meat animal and would be keen as a bean to do just that in the coming weeks, if anyone could point me in the right direction to achieve this It would be much appreciated, I'm happy to pay if need be just so I can learn about how to hunt them roughly speaking on sucessful terms.

i hunted them last year, struggled abit, there in the tight shit from what i found, this south island tops hunter was abit noisey, wait till the rutt then atleast you can smell them, o and i missed a stag

Hunt them like any other deer. I found slips productive. Knobs and sunny creek heads in the bush.
