Going camping tomorrow for a couple days weather looks crap my question is I'm worried the creeks may fill up to a dodgey level would I be best to take a rope and leave it tied off to a tree on the opposite side for my return trip ?

Mate if its truely expected to be that bad I would not be going at all
Yeah I'm in two minds it just a bit of rain by the sounds but I do know this particular creek gets a good dirty flow once it's rained for a bit
Sounds like beautiful weather for camping
darwins theory will prevail
dont get yourself stranded and have the sar team after you
stay home if it looks dodgy
Why bother with the risk?! Go somewhere else or stay at home. I'm lucky I have lots of spare time so never end up going out if the forecast is dodgy
Don't feed the TROLL!, sigh.........
Is there a plan b walk out route??
Don't mess with high or fast rivers as they take no prisoners
Plan a hunt with no rivers to cross
I like the spirit: thinking in advance that I can do X to overcome Y. That may save your life one day. But don't mess with the rivers. You know that. That's why you are posting and are just hoping for a better answer than the truth. Fair enough we all do mate.

You know the right answer. Go buy a book and then light the fire. There is always another weekend.
