There's a good DIY with pics on fishnhunt forum from "Madness" - worth a look. What ever you do don't cut the skull before it goes to an official scorer if that's the plan. Cracker red, well done

@Pointer all those pics are gone. I did found that thread though. Taxidermist said he might be able to get it done.

Yeah bummer it makes it a little harder to follow. Out of curiosity what was the main beam measurement on your head?

@Pointer the spread is about 38" and the length is about 37" (that"s the only two measurements i looked at). head is currently down the road in a walk in freezer. Don't think it will make the 300ds but this might be the best head i ever shoot.
I think you're in for a surprise regardless of the maths it's a stunner. I never get sick of looking at those east coast genetics.
