    Seeking advice on 1080 please

So I have a whole easter trip planned. Don't really no any hunters so going it alone in Arthurs pass where I've had success in the past. Just checked out the pesticide summary on the doc website and they have dropped the green devil pills in the area I was planning to go (2 dec 2014) Would you guys still bother going there?

Spent a day in a doc block recently 1080d, actually at the same time as yours.

It can depend on how bait is applied as to its effect on deer, the block I was in was not done using deer repellent but small baits targeting rats stoats etc apparently.

I seen 7 deer, mostly in a 2 hour period in the middle of the day, one of the things in my and also your favour is the deer may not have had much pressure.

If taking a dog, give it a miss, dogs very susceptible to 1080

    My 2 cents
