Just back from a little overseas excursion and getting ready to head back up home in mid September to help with the family bull sale. Was hoping to tie in a couple day Sika trip while I'm up there. It's been a long time since I hunted sika and even then I was very early in my hunting journey.
Was wondering if anyone had any advise to a south island hunter.
I was thinking of finding some north facing clay type country that ive only ever seen on videos and pictures and posting up. Or maybe heading towards Tongariro to be able to get up high but not sure if it's mostly Reds.
Did think of trying to tie in a packraft trip but that's secondary? As will have probably Thursday to Sunday as don't want to rush the hunting.
