    A shame to see this!

Seen some good sized stags on Sunday, 2 had cast and were left and another was a good long antlered Spiker also left but the last Stag of the day was the one that left me a little disappointed.
Left to rot with no meat retrieved, in some of the most open forest i have ever come across, you could see it from over 50m away.

It sucks to see that. Mind you from a value to her perspective it is better off out of the gene pool
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Yeah it was very close to a farmers boundary, 30-40m and very visible from there as well so he could of been hit under a light.
I will take the head from it one day but at the moment i will leave him as he was quite stinky when i rolled it for the pic.

Yeah not the best head you will find but the genetics in the area aren't that great for a start.

I heard they were dropping 1080 up near Piano Flat
Have you been for a walk around to assess the damage?

Nah i havent mate, they havent done the comb or any of Glenaray which is good.
I might head up that way soon with the camera just for a look, just to busy packing at the mo to worry about it.

I have come across something similar. Found 3 stags in one day shot and left . One had a leg removed and left next to it. And the other two with only the back steaks removed. Small or in even heads on them. Only 3 hrs walk in from the road. Very frustrating!!!
