I am looking to get a tikka and cut the barrel to around 17 inches and add a suppressor. I am in between 6.5prc and .270win and plan on shooting 130-140gr bullets in either. as many on here have said just get a 308 and get out hunting you wont go wrong trust me I have hunted for 50 years plus - if you are determined to cut a rifle down then .270 but you have just fucked up a really really great cartridge
