About LinkBacksyes and no..... if you cant reach brain or spine..pig can be very much still alive and VERY pissed off and can hurt you or dogs before you grab it and finish it off.
I know many folks who tried the .410 and gave it up and went back to .12ga for that same reason. more room for error,you cant beat horsepower in a SHTF situation.
