    Thanks - never saw/tried that! I already love this app and it just got better. Have played with ‘project waypoint’ on my Fenix but it’s clunky and for all the marketing on RSHC etc it sucks to navigate off.

    Yeah, I’ve done the marker + compass thing in the past but it only works if you can see it. Been in lots of situations where it was not possible. Following a bearing only possible if topography allows it. Sure, it’s good to know how to use the old methods when necessary but why not use the tools at your disposal?
