    Is this sign?

    Hi all,

Been recently going up this hill to into the national park and found all this ground that was dug up this area was on top of a hill where pine trees were cut down a couple of years ago. This area on top of the hill goes for a couple of hundred metres and all the dug up areas were off the track, even saw some poo and hoof prints around as well. But I am stumped what makes this mess as I am new to hunting. Any advice would be great. thanks

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Thanks guys, that makes me very happy, so I would assume they would be doing that late in the day or at night.

Most of those rooting looks reasonably old. Was there any fresh holes?

There were some fresh ones as well, I went up there a month ago and there was nothing and then last Saturday the whole place was turned over.

without dogs it will be pure luck to find them in the open, especially if the area gets a bit of pressure. They will cover a great distance in a night and could move right out after turning the place over.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
