    Sika roar

This will be my first roar ever, have been offered to go back to oamaru private for a week end of march,I must say I'm getting excited all ready, doing as much research as I can but I think if watched/read all on the net about sika in the roarany of you pros got any tips for a greenhorn?:-) also who's going after sika this roar?I'm thinking of buying an AJ caller as I probly sound like a dying cat instead of a stag haha
Also should I be going high on tops or laying low in the scrub?

It dosent realy matter how bad your roar is... With in reason.
If they are gonna come in they will just do it.
My best advice is. If you roar. Wait for atleast 10 mins cause they just seem ti sneek in without replying!

    100's of 1000s jhunt?

Mate, use your own lungs, cant be any worse than those pathetic callers I've heard. I don't have a vast knowledge of hunting them but I think in March a lot will be still moving around looking for girls using locater roars which sound a bit different. the bigger boys probably wont come into calls until they have girls and think you're a threat to em.

its hunting though, anything can happen, just get out there and experience it

if only you were a little closer I'd be happy to take you out and teach you some things. Don't worry mate we're all still learning. Just buy your gear gradually, you'll never have enough though, I'm always wanting something new!
