Thread: Sika Stag

Went for a drive to get some stream water .who should be walking down a tarseal road in no rush was a large 8 point sika stag .he was skinny but quite quiet .just let him carry on down to the stream .

Nice be cool to see . Obviously not a big 180ds kinda 8 pointer haha. Wonder why he's skinny should have put the weight back on by now and I'm sure this season there's been plenty of tucker around . Always cool to see deer on the road at random times I once saw a sika hind on tree trunk gorge road only 200 meters from state highway 1 and it was 4 in the after noon on the way home from the sika show.

All the Sika stags I’ve being seeing are still busy with the last of the late cycling hinds. And have worked themselves to be pretty light.

My big one was all alone, buy I've been seeing wratty stags with a handful of lasses as of late.
