    Smithy's Spur Blue mtns

    Anyone willing to shed some light on the best way to access Smithy's Spur block? looking at the DOC map it appears you have to cut in down stream of Garden gully and traverse into the block proper or else come over the top from Tapanui side? I gather its reasonably popular block so imagine its got a bit of an established route in? Cheers
