Someone to deal with Pig problem - Nth Otago

Some pigs in a area where shooting isn't possible so good dogs required, along with some tact to deal with bystranders - PM me your phone number and I'll discuss
veitnamcam and Micky Duck like this.

Do you want me to have a chat to my older brother, he used to use a tomahawk and scythe not good with interpersonal chat though.

Barry Crump, I think it was, dealt to pigs coming out at night and taking cocky's lambs. Crumpy baited them with potatoes with explosive detonators stuffed inside. Worked a treat supposedly, or it could be just a yarn ...

    Snares !!
I mopped up the cunning Breeders with imported USA snares
Made my own 1st - but you need a good Snare Lock which I did not have

If you want a link to a good supplier - just ask
Be careful of other animals though
I shut down all over Fawning - but still caught 2 yearlings last winter - but leg caught and let go with no damage to them or me :-)

Could be considered as being extremely cruel too if true.

Could'nt be anywhere near as bad as the phosphorous they used to use up until a few years ago. Pigs screamed as their guts burned.

I don't doubt that phosphorus is cruel.
I just don't believe that chewin on a det will kill dead every time. I'm sure there would have been a number of jaws/faces blown off with slow painful cruel deaths to follow.
