Slept in today, so had to change the plan where to go for a bush stalk. Tracked this stag for 45 mins before pulled of one of my better shots with the 308 and head shot it at 50 yards free standing {only shot on after it busted me} Prime venison and glad i woke up a hour late :thumbsup:
see the .308 does kill em good.... enjoy the venni bud.

Nice one, we find on the trail cams that they are up and about at all times of the day and night. Beeman seen a big red stag this morning on the road at 10 am, bit quick though, still running.
Getting up at 5 instead of 4 is not a sleep in in my world :P
