Home from work tonite, to find the helicopters busy dropping 1080 all over pirongia mountain up behind my house. Thought I may head across to a spot in the pureora this weekend..... But nah it's getting its annual drop as well. So I sit down in front of TV to find tonight, that the big Bay Area in fiord land is getting a massive drop, and it is going to be turned into a so called pest free area, and it is going to set the benchmark for other areas in this country. I hate stoats ferrets, rats,etc as much as the greenies, but soon our nz bush is going to be void of game animals, for all our children to hunt and enjoy... And learn.
