Thread: South Island Holiday hunt

Hi all, a friend and i are hoping to plan a low cost South Island hunting trip for a week, no Hellicopters, of course not been from the south i dont know what the lands are like, We plan to hunt public land and was hoping someone who is familiar with the south island would be kind enough to tell me what area or public block would be the best for a low budget trip and most likely to run into Tahr and Chamois, private message me if you dont feel comfortable posting a reply, im not asking for spots, just a recommended block thats easily accessible by a novice to the area.
