    South Taranaki Land

    Hey guys

Im only new to this forum but I was wondering if any one could point me in the direction of a forestry block (or even some farm land) in the south taranaki area that is home to pigs and possably deer for archery hunting. I have spent a bit of time in the Terere reserve but havent had too much luck in the way of finding anything but goats (which you practicaly trip over the moment you leave the car).
Im still fairly new to bow hunting but am after something a little more challenging than goats and a variety of meat in the freezer never goes amiss.

    Cheers in advance guys

Plenty of Fallow and more than the odd pig, and even the odd Sambar up the Waitotara Valley

Are they towards the back of the block in the whanganui side or the Eltham side? or just more scattered through?
