    Southland,Otago,Fiordland roar.

    Hi all, this will be my first year hunting in the roar in the south island. Do they roar earlier or later than the north island in general? I have from the 9th-18th off will that be a bit late?

    Stags will be roaring properly within a fortnight and likely to go to late April.
    I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
