    That was my first thought too. He’s such a solid bodied fat bastard, it’s easy to overlook his head.

    First and last stag for me for a while owing to being a very new dad. I’d written off hunting for at least four or five months in my head but when a mate asked if I wanted to go for a walk with him the mrs told me to go for it.

    A bizarre looking animal but easily the biggest bodied animal i’ve shot. He came in to a roar, covered a lot of distance to have a look but never roared back.
