Cheers @ Sideshow for the link, does the hitch clamp the tow ball like a bike carrier or does it have a telescope slide in & pin ( draw bar steel) mount ?

Clamps and then the pin locks the arm to stop it from lifting.
You would get one large red on it. That’s a plasters tub that I use. Think the best you would get in NZ would be a fish bin maybe?
You can back in up to a small mound to load but with the bin if you can pick up one end and slide that onto the center of the tray the smooth bottom would then slide on its own to move it around into position. If you try to load it at one end the the tray will tilt with heavy loads. I’d not go over the recommended load weight as I have heard of guys here damaging their towballs.
Two big fallow should be fine just mind any big pot holes
Hope that helps @Moa Hunter it really saves the back. Good work out for the legs lol my ground is flat compared to what I hunted in nz. But the bin really helps in keeping the carcass clean. Slide easy in the wet not too bad in the dry. Just need to lift the end up onto smallish logs to get over.
