Thread: Stags and Bucks 2025

Continuing on the tradition of the annual thread.

Show us your stags and bucks, big or small let's see 'em all!

First one for the year for Spence.
We waited over an hour and a half for a shot. Shouting and whistling and he wouldn't budge, obviously feeling quite secure in the long grass! As the clock was ticking and time had all but run out I talked him through shot placement for a head shot as that was all that was visible. .243 done the damage.

Only three and a half legs, probably part of the reason he opted to sit tight, but mud fat.
15 wonky points.

I guess the big guys are getting hard on their tops now.

Yourself and your young lad shoot some great animals and the Stags and Bucks threads are always a welcome read/watch.

I’m gonna get scolded for this, but one of these years I’d like to see a thread exclusively for public land Stags… sorry.

Could you go through and mark the ones which were shot on private land please
Because I'm not experienced enough to pick them.

Not sure what you mean. The whole point of my post is because one doesn’t know. But the hunt is different
