    The stags are getting started..

    Taken in 10 minutes tonight out back of the house, looking across to the neighbouring farm..

    Hybrid Red/Wap, obviously sounds more like a red, but looks pretty wapified.

    Being replied to by a big wap who didn't co-operate when I had the camera on him.

    And occasionally the neighbour's horse replying to the wap.


    You might need to turn the volume up fairly high, and ignore the birdsong

    Both those tones, quicken the pulse. What truely amazing animals deer are!

    Very true.. I find there's something truly special in the wapiti bugle especially. One of those sounds that you feel as much as hear.
