Stewart island

Hi all,

After some info around booking the Māori blocks on Stewart island. Have been before but only on doc blocks. On their website it has a flat fee. But once upon a time it also used to state the daily fee per hunter. Does anyone know if these costs still apply? Or is it just the flat fee?

Thanks been there. I just wanted clarification from people that have recently booked it was in fact no longer there.

You won’t get much joy from them. From experience last Nov. they only deal with emails on a Friday but don’t expect any communication, put in a booking request, you’ll get an invoice very quickly for a deposit and the next for full payment closer to time and that’s about it. Our block was supposed to have been empty before us but wasn’t and due to lack of rain, virtually no water in the hut tank and none for a week. Other than that, all good.
