    Sth island

    Looking at flying down to either Christchurch or Queens town for a roar trip next year.
    Any info on trailheads that can put us into some good country be appreciated.

    Will be driving a rental car, so 2wd access.

    If you follow the shingle road up to the car park,there is a track heading up a ridge to the north. I shot a yearling up the top under the bluffs by the creek once.
