So what's the story when stock get loose of doc land, free game?? Was 2km from road to doc boundary then 2km up the riverbed, only fence was on the roadside. Saw a pair of hunters coming out and they said there were another 3 or 4 right up near the saddle so another 1-2km up the river. Said they were making a mess and manure everywhere. Steep rocky riverbed so would have been tricky for them jumping up some spots. I saw 2 mobs of 3 had the cross-hairs settled on one as all I could see was black, then figured it was a cows nose not a goats!

I am a fan of free range beef, whats the story free game? The ones i saw did have ear tags in...
