    Stoney Creek Hut, Whakaari East: Looking for Advice on Access

    Hi All, I'm looking for advice on how best to get to Stoney Creek Hut in the Skippers/Whakaari area.

    The only advice I can find is Moirs guidebook, which takes two pages to explain that I should follow the creek.

    I'm thinking I could go up Silberhorn then down the other side.

    What's easiest?

    Any thoughts or tips much appreciated.

    Yeah silver horn your best bet. Go up the crystal battery track and then to point 1321 and follow ridge to silverhorn.
