But with copper or tipped projectiles, that will not perform as intended at such low velocities.

I take it you have never had ba..booom rounds before then???? Having to point rifle at the moon,slowly lower onto target then fire is not ideal and does wonders towards creating a flinch...

Nope, what cartridge/loading did you experience that?? Sounds like a lazy primer to me?

Also never seen any effect of "settling the powder against the primer" (It'll flow horizontal again when you level the rifle...); nor using fillers
